THIS SESSION FOCUSED ON PRE-RACE DAY.  HOW DO YOU PREPARE WITH TRAINING, NUTRITION, STRATEGY, AND ULTIMATELY SET YOURSELF UP FOR THE GREATEST SUCCESS ON RACE-DAY!


Nutrition Part 2:

Now you know what you should eat, this session takes it further to understand 3 keys to training and racing nutrition: the purpose, what would be good to eat and what would be bad to eat.


Injury prevention Part 2: 

part of owning your success, and saving money, is owning your injury prevention.  This session focused on 5 things you should be doing regularly: stretching, rolling out, icing, heat, and massage.  following a consistent plan at home helps you succeed!


​Purposeful training part 2:

The yellow hat coach is always looking to educate his athletes.  part of purposeful training is understanding the 4 key workout types and why it is important to train within the purpose of the workout.  This session focused on these 4 types: recovery, distance, tempo, and speed.


Race day part 2:

when it comes to racing, there are many obstacles fighting to deter you from your race day goals.  in this session we focused on the keys to race success: check-list, tools, and your mental game!

running form, the mechanics of running, are critical for your efficiency and injury prevention.  this session focused on the fundamentals of efficient running form.  we also videod the athletes and you will be able to view the results on this page.


Purposeful training part 1: 

When you run, whether you are training for fun or to compete at the highest level, you need to understand the purpose.  the yellow hat coach has a purpose for every part of every practice: from warm up to stretching, to drills, to the workout, core, and cool down.
